Activities
Ashbury Nursing Home has a dedicated team of 4 full
activity co-ordinators. They ensure that all our residents
become involved in some form of therapeutic activity,
according to the resident’s interests and wishes.
Apart from our varied schedule of in-house activities we
organise a weekly excursion from the nursing home in our
13 seater wheelchair accessible bus. Our full time driver
and our activity
co-ordinators will escort any residents who wish to partake
in the excursions, family members, friends of residents
and local residents are always welcome to accompany us
on our trips.
We have recently visited some of Dublin and Wicklow
well-known attractions like Aras an Uachtaran, The
Japanese Gardens, Powerscourt House, to name but a few.
We also escort any resident who wishes to attend any of
the local churches or community centres.
