All our nursing staff are fully trained and registered with An Board

Altranais. They each attend regular training updates in all areas of

gerentological nursing and are very well equipped to manage any type of

nursing need associated with the older person in long term residential

care.

Our care staff are also continuously undertaking educational training in

care of the older person and have Fetac Level 5 certificates, along with

manual handling training and CPR training.

Our ratio of resident to staff member is 3.5 to 1 and we always endeavour

to have an extra floating member of staff both day and night in order to

ensure unforeseeable events are fully controlled and managed.
